About Dr. Shekhar Srivastav
Dr. Shekhar Srivastav is one of the most renowned surgeons in Delhi, India, specializing in Knee Joint Replacement, Shoulder Replacement, Reverse Shoulder Replacement, and Arthroscopic ACL Reconstruction. He is a Senior Orthopedics Consultant and Head of the Orthopedics Department at DITO, Sant Parmanand Hospital.
He has extensive expertise in Robotic Knee Replacement Surgery, along with advanced treatments for shoulder and elbow joints, knee arthroscopy, and ACL reconstruction procedures.
Using cutting-edge technology such as the world’s first fully active robotic system (CUVIS with infrared eye), he has successfully performed 1500+ robotic knee replacement surgeries.
With over 30+ years of experience in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Shekhar has completed more than 25,000+ successful surgeries, including total, partial, and revision knee replacements, delivering outstanding results.
After obtaining his M.S. Orthopedics degree, he trained at leading centers in India and abroad, gaining extensive expertise in Orthopedics & Trauma care. He has over 21+ years of experience in diagnosing and treating patients.
He completed his AO/ASIF fellowship at University Hospital, Salzburg, Austria, and received advanced training in Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine at TUM Munich and Rush Orthopedics Centre, Chicago.
He runs a well-equipped orthopaedics clinic in Jagriti Enclave, Delhi, focusing on knee and shoulder problems. His expertise includes arthroscopic (keyhole) surgeries, ligament injuries, and cartilage treatments.
With thousands of successful knee replacements and arthroscopies, he has treated sportspersons and elderly patients with advanced arthritis, helping them regain mobility.
His special interest lies in robotic knee replacement, shoulder and elbow surgeries, including rotator cuff repairs and joint replacements.
He is actively involved in teaching, conferences, and health awareness programs, and has been awarded “Rising Star in Orthopedics – Delhi NCR 2018”.
